The word armadillo is borrowed from Spanish and simply means “little armored one.” But an even better word for an armadillo, in my opinion, is the Nahuatl ayotochtli. It means “turtle rabbit.”

My favourite way of saying “we’re on it” or “we’ll take care of that for you” is the Dutch we zullen dat varkentje wel even wassen. It means “we will certainly get that piglet washed.”

In which I explain that the Third Amendment—the one nobody ever talks about—allows hotels to refuse to house Kristi Noem’s ICE goons.
Opinion: Hotels Have a Constitutional Right Not To House ICE Agents
The Third Amendment prohibits the government from forcing people to “quarter” troops. ICE is essentially a paramilitary force—so why would hotels let them stay?

So, I'd go with 3
So, 3 broad possibilities here:
1) Rutte agreed to something of substance pre-cleared with Copenhagen & Nuuk
2) Rutte agreed to something of substance *not* pre-cleared with Copenhagen & Nuuk
3) Rutte agreed to something of no substance but that made Trump feel warm and fuzzy and important
Hahahahaha pathetic, well done Big Man you've torched the lot for nowt. See what happens when you stand up to the bully?

Geert Wilders’ PVV had 26 seats in the 150-seat parliament.
Seven of them just quit to form a breakaway party, led by Gidi Markuszower - previously arrested for carrying a gun in Amsterdam and labeled a security risk by Dutch security services

It's worth knowing that road deaths in a modern European country (like Spain) that actively seeks to reduce road deaths is one third of the level of US road deaths.

In other words, the US can reduce road deaths by ~66% simply by using better policy and without tech.
This is good. I think there is too much pessimism/skepticism of Waymo built in and arguably not enough about all the other AV providers. But this excerpt is 100% correct and the most important part.
