It means Tollhouse - I wasn’t sure how to describe the pronounciation of LL so I had to google it -

LL: A unique sound made by placing your tongue in the 'l' position and blowing air around the sides, instead of using your voice.

Actually it’s like they did leave it there. So far Season 9 feels like a spin-off.

Right, overall, season 8 was ass, but astonishingly the finale was very solid - and as with so many times before THAT’S WHERE THE SHOULD HAVE LEFT IT. It would have been a slightly ambiguous ending, leaving loads of loose threads (of course) but really quite lovely.

But noooooooo.

Finally getting to the end of Season 8. Mulder’s back which is a help, but what a slog it’s been. And after this he’s pretty much gone for good. (Until the film which I hear is shite and the reboot which I hear is meh.)

I’m now at the back end of X Files’ series 7, and to be honest the entertianment value has nosedived. Feels like it’s winding down now (despite there being 50 eps left of the original run)

Glutton for punishment. As little entertainment as I’m harvesting from this venture, I think I’ll feel a sense of accomplishment when I’ve done it. Or I’ll feel nothing. Either way I’m planning on finally getting to Twin Peaks as soon as I’m done.
