What if Dems ran on sacrificing James Carville's human rights?

Anyway, it's kind of insane that Carville's claim to fame was getting a candidate 43% in a presidential election (the lowest winning share of the popular vote since Woodrow Wilson) and we've had to hear from him non-stop for three+ decades.

The thing about Carville's piece is that it's a perfect example of the way centrists can't write literally anything without getting in a few jabs at the left/minorities. It's entirely possible to run on "economic rage," sure. There's no need to go, "And remember what some people on Tumblr said??"
November 24, 2025 at 8:41 PM
Yep, but it won’t be in the nyt, which handed Carville a platform today to repeat his tired cry: “Out With Woke.”The professional strategist/consultant grifter class he exemplifies have one interest: their own. They’re well paid no matter how bad their advice is.

They don’t speak for regular ppl
James Carville said on his Politicon Podcast recently that when it comes to so-called identity politics that “the baggage you bring may not be worth the votes you have” but interviewers should press him on which identities do and do not matter. A frank discussion would be illuminating,

Utterly ludicrous framing from @nytimes.com here, treating Pete Hegseth's arguments as if they're legitimate. The casual reader will be left with no inkling whatsoever of how unusual and corrupt an abuse of the process this truly is:

Can common sense or decency talk the deeply unpopular Labour govt off the ledge?
The UK has finally announced a study on puberty blockers to treat youth gender dysphoria, more than a year after banning them despite finding no evidence of any harm.

Some might say this is the opposite of how medicine is normally done, but with trans care the only rule is bigotry.

And it will single out trans people in any situation. From the article: "if a trans man, who is biologically female but is 'perceived' as a man, attempted to use a women’s changing room ... they can be barred."
Trans people could be banned from single-sex spaces based on how they look
