To add to this wisdom -- Focus on local and state races in your communities; Ds dropped the ball there for too long, and states must be the bulwark against tyranny at this moment. We need to change red states blue and purple again.....

Labeling Americans protesting government actions "insurrectionists" and threats to "security" could not be more at odds with the Constitution of the United States, and with the foundational rationale of the Revolution that brought our nation into existence.

Schumer was among the first leading NY politicians to work closely with Mamdani, when they together successfully supported NYC cabbies' effort to obtain debt relief (Schumer's great grandfather was a cabbie). There is every reason to expect him to support much of Mamdani's economic program.
