Bovino sports a Hitler haircut. His dreams extend back to the 1939s.
"Guys like Greg Bovino and the masked DHS agents are cosplaying a version of special ops that’s been fermenting in their imaginations since they were kids. These guys dress like they’re storming Fallujah because that’s their frame of reference."

It is an embarrassment to the United States that Trump - who is defying the will of the vast majority of Venezuelans by keeping Machado, their chosen leader, out of office in favor of an authoriarian stooge - has oerced Machado to "give" Trump a Nobel prize Machado earned for furthering democracy.
Trump: “It was my Great Honor to meet María Corina Machado, of Venezuela, today. She is a wonderful woman who has been through so much. María presented me with her Nobel Peace Prize for the work I have done. Such a wonderful gesture of mutual respect. Thank you María!”

Machado is the courageous and overwhelmingly supported leader of Venezuela. Her pandering to Trump is astute. The fact that she has to do it is embarrassing to the United States of America.
Two political figures united in a lack of self-respect and dignity.

Trump stooges, who regularly do dumb things Trump wants, are angry that Judge Jeannine, another Trump stooge, is doing an utterly stupid thing Trump wants. That is par for the course in a dysfunctional dictatorship.

Trump wants to keep a communist dictator in power in Venezuela, because she was not elected by a huge majority of Venezuelans and is not a Nobel Prize winner, like Machado.

To add to this wisdom -- Focus on local and state races in your communities; Ds dropped the ball there for too long, and states must be the bulwark against tyranny at this moment. We need to change red states blue and purple again.....
It’s easy to watch the news and feel overwhelmed or even helpless at everything going on. I need you to fight that feeling.

I’m an optimist. You have to be when you strap yourself to a rocket for a living. But there’s real reason to be hopeful this year and l’ll tell you why.

They are also beer bellied. The government should be regulating their fat intake and not allowing them to eat fast food; they are falling down in the ice trying to chase their would be kidnapping victims. Come to think of it, citizens of Minn. should be handing out Big Macs to these thugs.....
These loathsome fucking turds should be shouted at, interfered with, humiliated, & disdained at every possible opportunity. They should face contempt everywhere they turn until the day they die.

Labeling Americans protesting government actions "insurrectionists" and threats to "security" could not be more at odds with the Constitution of the United States, and with the foundational rationale of the Revolution that brought our nation into existence.
Miller: "In MN, the insurrectionists are confronting our officers on the street. They're being arrested. This is a natl security priority. Arrests of insurrectionists are made every day, and each provide us an opportunity to learn about the network from a law enforcement & natl security standpoint"

Schumer was among the first leading NY politicians to work closely with Mamdani, when they together successfully supported NYC cabbies' effort to obtain debt relief (Schumer's great grandfather was a cabbie). There is every reason to expect him to support much of Mamdani's economic program.
if you try to focus on Trump’s authoritarianism, Schumer will deflect and say people want us to focus on affordability. but when Zohran Mamdani made affordability the heart of his campaign Schumer refused to endorse him because they disagree about Israel. it’s all mealy mouthed bullshit.

Interesting thread on why the increasingly successful political defenses of the Fed could actually make the Supreme Court more likely to fully gut the independence of other independent agencies.
🧵

I’ve been thinking about what the Powell/Trump standoff means for the cases pending at the Court on agency independence. Powell has been skillful and brave in the face of the administration’s attempts to intimidate The Fed into lowering interest rates. His video was astonishing and powerful. 1/?

The "Big Beautiful" reconciliation bill gave Trump a massive DHS slush fund. Furthermore, Noem is now openly arguing that it allows ICE to escape otherwise applicable legislative oversight of DHS (see below thread). Ds must not support a CR that lets abuses continue, while oversight is voided. 1/
