I'm glad Bolts is covering this. It's one of several big problems with the parole system in New Mexico. Another one: sex offenders with long parole terms get a violation, go back to prison, and can't get out. For years, people serving "in-house parole" couldn't get hearings with the parole board.

Two thoughts:
1. As a former daycare manager, hiding the children when some rando shows up is pretty standard practice.
2. I actually knew of this dude because my gen z kid described him as one of the “biggest grifter losers on YouTube, which says a lot”

It's been really interesting to watch as this story is just EVERYWHERE on Twitter, but isn't getting much traction on other social sites.
At one point, the two men in this video don’t identify themselves to daycare workers, demand to know where the children are, and then try to yank open the door as the female employees pull on it to keep them out.

I will never understand why the choir of children had to practice all year long for a song whose only lyrics are “ding dong, ding dong, ding dong, ding dong”
Honeslty baffling that Paul McCartney, who wrote "Blackbird" and "Silly Love Songs," also has the capacity for clunkers like "Wonderful Christmastime" and "Girl is Mine."
