And of course, the best thing about realizing love is real is that, to be sentimental, it means that you still have a shot even if you're not the richest guy.

We unironically should get comfortable with “welcoming to the resistance” people who are otherwise pretty loathsome, and in retrospect the fact that that could even be a punchline shows how much less dire the situation was the first time around.

The emails that you’re seeing now are news in themselves, but that’s because of how they’re coming out—a congressional committee released them—& the context in which they’re being viewed. A guy emailing a reporter talking about old girlfriends or saying someone is “dirty” is not a whole news story.
