Maybe if we don't want Mills we should at least give the several other primary contenders a chance instead of being ride-or-die for the Blackwater merc with Nazi tattoos against somebody who regularly crushes Dems due to having perceptions of not being extreme.

The most interesting in this article imo was the critique that Chase's strategy was completely misguided and indicated a failure at oral advocacy, which I have largely not heard at all from "our side", as it were; we've mostly treated the ruling as inevitable.

I think that it's that and also, as I said to someone else, literally just this meme. A lot of secular people decided that the "god" stuff was cringe but otherwise have embraced fundamentalist right-wing religious morality wholesale imo.
