I will never forget my dad asking out loud "do you think they make a cookbook that's just for soups?" That was a pivotal moment improving my life immensely.
Saving getting really into soups for old age. Like metal detecting. You don't want to start too soon.

I got everything packed up, bins put away, vacuumed, in 24 minutes.Honestly that's kind of annoying. Still have to get tree bag into crawlspace, but that's not a solo task.

I try to make sure to talk to my parents every week and I see proof of life of my mom on FB regularly. I have not talked to them at all in January and then last night had a vivid dream about them dying weeks apart. Called my mom and they have been in bed sick since Saturday. Whoops. Bad daughter.

Both my older kids have googled something for a school project recently and said "what, that's not right" when the AI summary popped up. That's correct. The AI summary is not right. Never trust it.
The increasingly common habit of screenshotting the AI summary of a Google search and presenting it as evidence must be nipped in the bud immediately. That is nothing. That is not anything, it is not a thing.

We've declined 3 different offered plans for tonight. I want to do all the things but I am spent. J and I are going to make fish tacos and snuggle our dog. I'm excited he went to the stupid cable store to get a new xumo box (probably so I stop whining about the ancient roku that keeps going offline)

My babysitter loved that we had cable so The Cars You Might Think and George Michael Faith come to mind instantly. I'd say November Rain, No Rain, and Blackhole Sun were on constant repeat for my own viewing. Also pour one out for quality programming like Unplugged.
