Whine a lot. Ice cream lover. she/her
I appreciate working at a psychiatric hospital because the mission keeps me moving. I simultaneously want to wallow and battle in the streets and my obligations do not allow either. Hearing J's engineering meetings makes me want to scream WHAT ARE WE DOING with our lives?

Lived in WI my whole life, but had not heard the cracking until about 10 years ago. We have river behind our house so there is always birdshot noise. The first cracking I was WHAT IS THAT?! J: that's not gunshots that is just the trees. WHAT?! He is very annoyed by the explosion stories.

Yeah I think the threshold here is <20 when (most) car washes close. At 40 you are usually 10-12 deep in a line.

Similarly, "a masked agent went to work and captured a pre schooler" is what happened, and anyone who has the audacity to call that an emotional or biased statement should be asked why they are more upset with the phrasing than the reality.

These are pricier than I remember (as you would need multiple packs) but maybe something like this (I didn't link as not sure if Michael's exists by you) so they could each draw/color their own messages?

I can't remember the exact phrasing, but a bowling award at a work retreat. I mean it was stupid and funny, but given sincerely.
Also $500 scholarship from Tylenol for an injury essay. (I also remember it got paid out to the wrong college and in the correction it was not valid towards book expense)

I feel so bad for all the animals outside in this. (I thought my wool socks would be enough but my feet are still so cold)

Mostly. Once she had an opinion of a situation it was everlasting. My dad was a difficult child and I think she struggled to see where he was successful.

He retired on disability years before my mom and became solely in charge of cooking. When my mom finally retired he would hint they should go back to sharing duties and my mom was like, eh why mess with it. This arrangement works.

I remember my Grandma poking fun of dad (her son) saying he wasn't able to cook. I got irate as that guy made dinner at least 50% of my grade school years. He REALLY got into following recipes and branching out when they had disposable income and then even more when my mom got sick. Zip it Grams.

VP is meeting with my boss about an issue in my dept. I am not invited to the meeting. I typed out 4 paragraphs detailing my thoughts on why this issue keeps occurring, why my hands are tied on resolving it, and what I think would help. Seriously doubt he will read but damn it felt good to unload.
