We did a cellophane ball for the kids which was as both wonderful and horrible as we knew it would be. Big thanks to my SIL who brought the intensity and enforced turn taking ripping the ball away so I didn't have too.

I will give extra shout out to my middle niece (our own personal jack-o'-lantern) who happily participated in every game and activity and was the only child not to cry.

Had to leave work to take Kelsey in for a sample to see if latest round of drugs is working. My boss kicked me out and said not to come back. So I'm snuggling her with my new blankie and a smoothie. Relaxation at last.

I have a turkey hat because my family always does a turkey trot on Thanksgiving. I think J had a roast turkey hat from some friendsgiving we used to host but it's long since made its way into donation.

Same antibiotic formulation but I guess pharmacies can just charge whatever they want at whim? I do not understand. Also Costco I am definitely giving you some major side eye.

I am so happy I convinced J that all lower drawers is not worth the expense for the basement. Drawer cabinets are heavy. This cabinet for laundry room was enough. I couldn't imagine doing it 4 more times.

Finally had full day of consults/exams/labs for my sweet girl. A fucked liver and permanent blindness. No cure/reversal but she is not in end stage liver failure or suffering from encephalopathy. Tweaking support meds and followup in 3 weeks, then again in 3 months. Not imminent goodbye we feared.

I haven't talked about it on here as we're still navigating what the path looks like, but kelsey's (already strained) liver has called it quits, which also has led to sudden blindness. It's been a rough 10 days as we all adjust and support her as we can. I bought a pet sling.

I know it's all relative, but I find it very odd that super high waisted seems to be at the natural waist line.

We are not going to MN State Fair this year and I have to say I would have been so disappointed to go and find out nordic waffles are not there. I had to make my own this morning.

My SIL remains outstanding and came through again to help me get a plain burger after childhood trauma of being forced to eat ketchup. Blows me away that I have seen historic Brewers winning streak and enjoyed free Webbs burgers (the company that continues to believe!) 3 separate times in my life.
