This.

This is why you shouldn't give Paul Andrews/Retro Games Limited any of your money. He's a horrible, spiteful little man who only sees the retro games community as a cash cow to milk and something to bully.
I see a lot of people talking about the A1200 mini.

Here's a reminder that Paul Andrews of Retro Games ltd. (and various other companies, and a proper James Blunt) does not deserve your money:

I don’t think many people realise this. British people are discouraged from marrying someone from outside of Britain!
On the form a British citizen and non-citizen spouse must fill in to live together in the UK you have to declare a reason you *can't* live together elsewhere. The default position of the UK government since 2012 is that a citizen who married a non-Brit should just leave.
The UK already prohibits MARRIED BRITISH CITIZENS from automatic family reunification, including my own, which is why my wife and I have to live in a third country together. Mahmood wants to further erode the Right to Family Life assured by the ECHR. This is an evil anti-family and anti-human policy

Once again, “protect the children” drives people quite insane, and rarely actually protects any children.
The British government admits it is now monitoring VPNs use by UK residents. Regulator Ofcom has contracted with an AI-powered surveillance service to detect the number of citizens using VPNs to evade the Online Safety Act.

The UK tech minister has said a VPN ban is on the table.

OK, I don’t like seeing Seasonal trees (or decorations or other signifiers) so early in the year, but I’ll give it points for looking like something from early 3D polygonal games. Maybe the decorations are crude texture maps?

Also in TVS land (Soton region) Coca Cola and Pepsi struggled to compete with Panda Cola. No, really!

At the supermarket a can of Panda Cola was 12p whereas Coca Cola was 18p. It was shit but that wasn't the point.

And they sold it for 50p down at the kiosks in Bomo!
I occasionally bore people younger than I by telling them about how Walkers wasn’t really a prominent brand round here (TVS land) until 1992, 1993ish. Golden Wonder and Smiths were the big two.

TBH, the Oliver Twins would have used genAI had it existed back in the 1980s, seeing as their deal whole was churning out cheap identikit games rather than anything of actual quality…
Remember when the Oliver Twins were creative?

Now, they are just another pair of aging "techbros" looking to shit out slop for a quick buck. Truly pathetic.
...and here's the first trailer... 😬

Another thing here - if you go to, let's say, a GP and you get an answer your not happy with, PERSIST.

I had a proper diagnosis when I reported what happened with my GP to my diabetic specialist. She then got me a referral, saying that the GP should have.

Eventually I was properly diagnosed.
Did my annual 'sending shit through the post' duty today. I also heard that a friend had died of cancer. So I commend you to take all the tests for this horrible disease, even if you're a bit embarrassed. Me, not so much.

This is a brilliant dissection of the "Definitive Guide to SNES RPGs".

Having read through it, I'm actually amazed that Bitmap Books published it. The standard of writing is significantly below what I expect from their books. Significantly.
alright gonna put myself out there a little bit

oh my lord I do believe I regret purchasing a book. i am not done and I intend to read far more of it to finish judging it but I'm already pretty upset.
