Well, that was a fantastic listen. The writers all “got it”, getting the original cast back was a brilliant coup but the new cast weren’t outshone. Nice and touching interview wit Brigit Forsyth at the end as well. Well worth the price.

Aye, we’ve a local butcher/deli that charges much the same. Had a chilli scotch egg a few weeks back which was absolutely fantastic.

They just have a bigger air gap around the egg. And then use far too much breadcrumb, so the whole thing is dry and joyless.

We used to pronounced it with an é, but a couple of years ago they gave up trying to make it a thing with the masses, and stuck with the “ee” pronunciation.
