Going to be honest, I never perceived Whamageddon as a slight on the right hon. George Michael, just a bit of fun with regard to its ubiquity in shops during the festive season

Main sides (yam casserole, mashed potato, sausage stuffing, goose-fat roast potatoes, garlic-sautéed green beans, macaroni cheese, creamed corn) in the warmer. Turkey crown in the oven. Still to go in the oven: popovers and cornbread muffins. Still to prepare: mini cream soda floats, popcorn.
