14/ slight correction here: he didn't even intentionally overstay the visa, he was seeking a reasonable extension, which DHS denied. This left him immediately out of status. "Doing it the right way" all the way down

2/ Client is from an EU country, and married to a US citizen. He slightly overstayed his tourist visa at last entry & then applied for residency through his spouse. He has every right to do this through USCIS in a classic "one-step" process, so prior atty filed the visa petition & residency app

We must spend some time talking about why the institutions of liberal democracy matter. We cannot take it for granted that most citizens support democracy. And it must not be partisan. If it smacks of “D v R” then most folks will say “That’s just politics”.

When you talk about the ulterior motives driving a large movement, it is critical to understand what you are focused on is largely irrelevant for the vast majority of them, and definitely wasn’t what drew them in. Hey, I want to offer some helpful tips for coping with the cold for ICE folks who might have come from warmer places.
1. Wear cotton socks! Cotton is nice and soft next to your skin and will absorb your sweat so your feet stay warm. Cotton everything but ESPECIALLY socks!
