I want to say that in general, I think Jasmine Crockett rules, and I agree that we should be skeptical of Liberty Vote. But I am deeply, deeply uncomfortable with an account as large as AltNPS calling for what is essentially widespread paranoia and pre-emptive election denial.

If you have to get permission to teach in your area of expertise from people who are definitionally not qualified to adjudicate your expertise then you are no longer working at a university.

In a very authentic sense the university has removed these academics from their posts and reassigned them to a middle manager role at a company or government office. Professors have to face that reality and fight back rather than pretending they’re still something that is true in name only.
