Made a mockup for Thundercats as a 90s Capcom styled Beat-em up! Really wanted authenticity, 3 SCR layers + Sprites, 16 colours per tile, SCR1/3 uses 8x8/32/32 tiles as opposed to 16x16, etc. The one inaccuracy is the palette (bitdepth), but hey, still happy with this!

Like even if ya love it, it's kinda hard to argue that the cons VASTLY outweigh any pros. It's like "I mean sure the Thing might kill us and assimilate us into it's bio-mass, but I can generate SpongeBob blowing a dooby that someone else already drew"

For those that didn't follow along/need a refresher, it's a small series of photo-based drawings based on random ideas that popped into my head, including improbably cross-overs. Used it as an excuse to try different things.

Just to add something: there are at least 2-3 dozens of active in-development indie fighters from all subgenres, but unfortunately it's hard for them to emerge. I've seen a lot and there's *a humongous number of titles* worthy of attention. Sad that they don't get time in the limelight

So with just a few code tweaks, the SDK now supports SCR1/2 tiles!
Obviously still need to work on automatic palette assignment, but just look at this! I'm within spitting distance of putting this old CPS1 mockup on THE ACTUAL HONEST TO GOD CPS1! Well excited!
