Daiapollon came out in English in the states in the '80s as Shadow World on VHS. I have the tape! Blocker or Rainbowman feel like better candidates to me

I mean I got Kmart Xabungle as a kid but I also got Pentabot, the Acrobunch toy, ALMOST J9, so I mean, the walls were porous in the '80s. we got toys for all kinds of robot anime we didn't get the anime for until 35 years later or whatever.
