Not here for anything in particular, you'll just have to go with vibes (although films [movies], motorsport, politics, and culture seem to come up a lot.)

MEddle not in the affairs of orbital mechanics for it is subtle, and quick to anger.

It's astonishing how much the software engineering community in particular have latched on this.

In honor of spooky month, share a 4 word horror story that only someone in your profession would understand

I'll go first: Six page commercial lease.

It's nice to hear he's talked Trump into getting rid of all that gold leaf though.

Bloody marvellous tbh. It does what After The Hunt really fails to do (and am now wondering if After The Hunt was a little bit inspired by the same play). I didn't know Ibsen wrote Less Than Zero before Brett Easton Ellis did.

What a superb adaptation. It is beautiful as expected but all the dynamics between all of the ensemble are so well played too. It had a sort of Tolland does Rope air to it, I think because it's one (grand) location.

Only in the sense that if momentum did not regard spatial symmetry, just moving through space could change one's momentum which would break classical mechanics. I suppose that is a bit post hoc so perhaps "intuitive" was the wrong word.

has anyone out there encountered any "laws" concerning headlines, I feel like such things must exist but no one has ever mentioned them to me, two or three hundred times in the last half hour

It's not counter-intuititive to me and in fact was the thing that led to me realising thinking geometrically rather than analytically works better for me a lot of the time (like most STEM professionals did for a thousand years)

Unforch deep dives into matrices had already killed my spirit by then

Yeah. I tried TinEye and it gave me a bajillion hits on the original (which is proof it's great 'shop work but it don't fix my problem)
