I don't miss going to Oasis Cafe. However, there are a few businesses here that I do miss patronizing. (Their contempt for their neighbors outweighs and good feelings I may have for their establishments and products, however.)
LMAO the deadass GOP-donating Oasis Cafe people who just moved into Gramercy are helping to try to kill a bike lane in Astoria. Cool. Another reason not to go there and buy their ass coffee
We've been running a boycott on them the whole time! It's why they tried to keep the Court St people doing the same hidden! Everyone should join our reddit community if you haven't.

I wonder if Brett Kavanaugh will rethink his cavalier attitude towards these things once he sees a white blonde woman can be targeted repeatedly as well?

In a recent interview w/ Tara Palmeri, George Santos baselessly accused a female investigative reporter of serious misconduct.

Palmeri didn’t push back then, and won’t remove Santos’ claims now.

Says the accused reporter: “It’s deeply unethical.”

I've been saying this for a year now: the Democrats have missed a gigantic political opportunity--and, at this point, have failed in an ethical obligation--to create a shadow-government health department that dispenses medically accurate information, guidance, and advice.

Good context on this late-breaking court turd. It is always possible for a judge to issue a ruling saying something like this, but not quite as possible for it to stand on appeal. The laws and judicial precedent specifically do not impose this burden on cities re-marking traffic lanes.
If I’m reading this ruling correctly, it would functionally require a CEQR/SEQR process for every bike lane (or any other change to street layout) that’s longer than four blocks.
BREAKING: A Queens judge on Friday took the unprecedented step of ordering the city to rip up the partially installed protected bike lane on 31st Street in Astoria, defying years of legal precedent that empowers the DOT to redesign city streets as it sees fit. buff.ly/02lWfWs

We already know the Trump administration has been lying about ICE “targeting the worst of the worst” — the actual numbers tell the truth.

The government’s own data shows only 15 % of those detained had any prior criminal convictions, and just 3 % were violent offenders.
