This is what I’ve been saying: this administration’s default position is immigrants are illegal, period.
No Way Out was on TCM last night, and they don’t make ‘em like that anymore, which is a good thing. I liked it in 1987, but in retrospect, that may have more to do with naked Sean Young than anything else. It really treats her and every woman terribly; the gay character, too. Good remake material.

I'm thinking of the National Guard shooting victims today, and hoping for the best for them. Thankful for a lot this year: friends, family, my son finding success professionally and my daughter in her studies, and that my show, which literally took a decade of perseverance and patience, finally came out.

At around 5pm last night, my son and I were on the 105 interchange onto the northbound 110 heading for downtown Los Angeles, and the light hitting downtown was incredible. He got a picture, but it was hard to do justice to what we were seeing with our eyes.

I don’t buy a lot of print comics these days unless they’re collected editions, but I’m going to buy this one because Gabriel is one of my favorite comics creators. That he’s signing at the shop next to my dry cleaner is a bonus.

State judge dismisses, saying it’s really more of a federal than state case. Turns out if you’re rich enough, corrupt enough, and have a sympathetic Supreme Court majority that disdains democracy as much as you do, you, too could get away with election interference and racketeering.
The 2020 Georgia election case is going to be dismissed in its entirety, with the prosecutor offering less-than-persuasive reasoning. A miscarriage of justice that weakens our democracy.

I’m convinced that we could “Truman Show” Trump by building a replica White House for him, where he could have “calls” with “foreign leaders” and “press conferences” with “reporters” to his heart’s content, and he wouldn’t know the difference. The problem would be the people around him.
At this point, I wonder if he isn't lying when he says he has "my highest Poll Numbers, ever" since it's entirely possible that's what his aides are telling him. It's quite likely that there's an entire Potemkin village built around Trump right now.

There’s two definitions of “the worst of the worst” people he claimed to be going after: what you and I would understand to be actual dangerous people, and what hate-filled shitbag Stephen Miller sees as dangerous people, which is all non-white immigrants, period. They’re easier targets for ICE.
This is the scandal. Trump isn’t targeting dangerous people. He’s targeting peaceful immigrants. Almost exclusively.
