But very few people alive have ever actually had *sex.* They’ve performed a social ritual, sort of like hazing. They’ve slapped their damp, clammy body against another damp, clammy body, like the wriggling of a suffocating fish. Maybe, possibly, their tongue came into contact with another tongue during the process. It doesn’t even sound enjoyable or enviable. They’ve never made love. They’ve never experienced passion, or tried to melt into another human being. To be crude, for a moment, it sounds like it’s more or less the equivalent of a salaryman dipping into the bathroom and having a 30-second wank, simply so that he can more-easily concentrate on whichever set of numbers he is currently moving from one column of an excel sheet to another. It’s nothing but a physical phenomenon, removed of any telos. There is no desire to unify, to become one; or even at a baser level, to control, to own. Leave alone any thought of the fruit of passion, the creation of another life inside of the woman; perish the idea. There is no yearning, no primal and beastly need even, other than a poor simulacra, the simple desire to fulfill a base bodily instinct. It’s like eating—: and not to craft a meal, not to provide oneself art, not to turn passion itself into a physical, sensible monument, to provide unto oneself an appreciable reception of one’s own soul, but to microwave a frozen sandwich, or gulp down a cup of instant ramen, merely to stop one’s stomach from growling. We live in a world of walking stomachs; hylics, all. And most of it is nothing but glorified prostitution, anyways; even within most marriages which occur today. Piers’ Wife says that she wears the trousers in the family, so perhaps the dynamic is simply turned the other way, and Piers is like a sort of gigolo. Maybe he’s even too stupid to realise that that’s all he is. But all that he has ever provided to the world is nothing more than the vulgar commentary of one.

11 officers present to arrest Luigi Mangione "for taking 40 minutes to eat his McDonald's meal" including NYPD officers who were far outside jurisdiction and had invited themselves. They can be heard interrupting Altoona police radio to announce they'll be arriving despite being ignored by local PD.
NYPD insist Luigi Mangione had a bomb and begin gleefully rifling through his bag according to footage shown in court. Never call bomb squad, joke about explosives killing k9 unit, insist "they would rather the bomb go off indoors than outside" despite 11 officers inside and area not evacuated. No bomb found. Suddenly find murder weapon and manifesto to arrest him though. They never mention why they believed that he had a bomb. Questioned in court today they all blamed each other as the source of the information that a bomb was present. Reply only with "I don't recall" when asked why they did not act seriously in footage or contact a bomb squad. Appears to have been a deliberate attempt to tamper with or plant evidence. The only reason Luigi was being searched "for a bomb" at this time was because he "had taken 40 minutes to eat his McDonald's meal" though police admit to being aware this did not break any laws or even the restaurant chain rules.

Funny thing about that: No one stopped talking about him. Nearly every single app and website began banning and mass deleting anything that mentioned him, any community meant to discuss him, and any account that mentioned him, especially any that expressed support for him to any degree, and people had to start using things like 'LM' (his initials) to talk about him due to extreme censorship. The mainstream news is barred from discussing him, and he only got mentioned occasionally when someone managed to say it on live television which they, the network, or show host would get immediately and harshly penalized for. To which the president and Pam Bondi would both make loud public death threats to Luigi Mangione in response. Most of Luigi's support has had to take over avenues such as donating to him directly (which has amassed his legal defense over a million dollars), graffiti and anonymous projections across cities, planes with banners, billboards, merchandise (which is often mass deleted wherever hosted) and non-American based social media such as Rednote where censorship hasn't managed to shut it down. Even now, as his hearings are ongoing, there is almost no television coverage, major mainstream news is ignoring it, and aggressive hit piece documentaries were filmed and flooded streaming services that were, you guessed it, paid for by large corrupt CEOs to paint Luigi in the worst light possible before they were even sure they had the right guy.

Free Luigi Mangione. Whether he is guilty or not (and he's innocent until proven guilty, remember, regardless of whether he did it) the cops did all they could to fit him up, the prosecution has been leaking evidence to the media, the whole case is crooked as fuck. Let the man go.

An important point to come out of the Sandie Peggie case is that 'gender critical' employees can't take matters into their own hands and confront trans employees. If they do that it is likely to be harassment/ bullying/ a hate incident.
So far as her other comments are concerned, they were impermissible manifestations of her belief and were in our view what amounted to an incident of harassment by the claimant of the second respondent related to the protected characteristic of gender reassignment, reasonably perceived by the second respondent to be so, and were a breach by the claimant of section 26 of the Act and of the Bullying and Harassment Policy. The second respondent was entitled to view the actions of the claimant in those particular regards as being such harassment, or as a “hate incident” within the policy, and the first respondent was entitled in principle to act on the complaint made, but the detail of how it did so depends on all the circumstances as more fully addressed below. The second respondent was also entitled to regard the claimant’s actions as a breach of the second respondent’s Article 8 rights, so far as the claimant’s expression of her beliefs was impermissible. 1034. We also considered that the claimant had acted deliberately to be able to challenge the second respondent whilst they were alone. What she did was to wait until other members of staff had left the changing room, and for the second respondent to leave the cubicle, before raising her own beliefs directly with the second respondent in the manner we have set out. 1035. Whilst the claimant had not been informed as promptly and in the detail we considered appropriate, and the first respondent did not consider whether to revoke permission at all, the claimant did not herself raise any formal grievance under the policy. She is an experienced member of staff who had access to union advice. She knew, or ought reasonably to have known, that the first respondent having granted permission to the second respondent she required to have raised her concerns with the first respondent as the decision-maker rather than with the colleague to whom it had been granted, and in any event ought not to have done so in the manner that she did.

In case anyone ever wonders why we celebrate Luigi Mangione: The company who altered the Grenfell Tower renovation plans "to save the company money" saved just 5000 pounds by opting for the lowest graded, most flammable materials on the market. They saved just 70 pounds per person that died. In USD that's 93 bucks. They slaughtered an entire building full of people, men women and children, to save a little money; the price a CEO puts on a human life is less than a hundred bucks to line their pocket. The message is not to Brian Thompson, who himself killed through denying insulin and chemo to as many patients as he could, but to all CEOs. They all value your life less than 70 British pounds. If they could burn you alive for an extra hundred bucks, they would.

Update: Luigi Mangione was asked to 'stop being so expressive' in court for the remainder of his trial. His eyebrows appear to be interrupting the witness statements by moving too much. I'm not sure he can help it haha
