This a very, very sad day. I tried my best to tell as many people I could in the trans community in Ireland about her. A huge loss but an incredible life lived and a massive legacy. She was the greatest. So many are still fucking here because of her. Rest in power.

Miss Major was a lifelong organizer and participant in the ballroom scene. She took part in the 1969 Stonewall Riots and was injured by the police — but she kept fighting.

Ireland has a population of 5m and we've a waiting list approaching 15 years. Why? Because their mandatory, archaic and traumatic psychiatric and psychological assessments are a deliberate bottleneck to ensure as few people as possible can access healthcare a nurse can do!

The ‘Transit’ gender clinic in Spain has a 3 WEEK waiting list! 😳😳😳

I got dolled up last night for a house party where the theme was wear what you don't normally get to wear. So I wore a long gown with a split hem and actually shaved the legs & puts and wore makeup. Wish I'd taken a photo cos I looked pure daycent. Gave me a wee confidence boost.

Not bad, not perfect but probably one of the better responses from a politician in fairness. There's cis women born with testicles. To decide whether you have a penis or a clitoris when you're born, if they're not sure they literally pull out a ruler and go from there.
