we don't celebrate this holiday, but i am making pumpkin pie with a homemade ginger coolie crust and cinnamon whipped cream. Baking the cookies now while eating a pancetta, spinach, and cheese omelet with my homemade thyme bread toast. Feeling lucky to have food.

when i got long covid from the ACLU in 2022, one side effect was a tumor in my sinuses. it is growing and i'm losing my hearing. the hearing doctor just told me i need hearing aids, but Medicaid doesn't cover them. LOL anyway

Not only did the ex-husband absolutely turn her in, but this also goes to show that no matter how close you embed yourself into this faction of the government as a "non-member", you can even be married into it, you are still vulnerable and will never be fully welcome.

I run customer-facing teams and getting a deluge of complaint calls between Thanksgiving and NYE is literally a nightmare scenario that risks turning into a cascade (a couple people quit, more work for the rest, so a couple more quit, etc)
