Disabled Jews have always been here.

But most synagogues still treat access as optional.

“Inclusion” means nothing if we can’t even get through the physical or proverbial door.

Flying while autistic isn’t just about getting from one place to another.

It’s about surviving an environment built for compliance and performance.

Regulation is the real destination - not St Louis, Amsterdam, or wherever you’re going.

Autistiphobia is discrimination and bigotry towards autistic people specifically.

It’s a subset of ableism.

mutual aid isn't a luxury.

autistic folx need to look out for one another.

and also need to recognise that not all of us will have the spoons to do so on a moment's notice.

Autistic people aren’t broken versions of normal.

We are the proof that “normal” was never real.

The world needs our way of seeing - it just doesn’t know it yet.

Most autistic humans were never taught what healthy love looks like.

We learned performance.

We called survival connection.

But healthy autistic love isn’t about intensity or constant closeness.

It’s about safety, regulation, clarity, and repair.

Autistic advocacy isn’t about awareness.

It’s about changing conditions.

Unmasking, surviving, naming needs without apology.

That’s advocacy.

Autistic truth makes people uncomfortable because it’s not performative.

We name what’s broken without decorating it.

It’s not rudeness.

It’s clarity.

And clarity is sacred.
