Maybe ABC, CBS, and WaPo like being denounced by the White House, at least a little, because they can use that to say they’re not biased in Trump’s favor despite all the objective evidence that they are. Good point.
I think they probably welcome it. They're all hopelessly biased in Trump's favor but having the WH call them out as somehow being "anti-Trump" is brand management for them

The White House’s new anti-media website includes denunciations of:

-ABC, which bribed the president
-CBS, which bribed the president and moved away from fact-based journalism trying to appeal to him and his fans
-WaPo, which spiked a Harris endorsement and tilts coverage in Trump’s favor

Fools.

Actually incredible to try to use this line against voters who want to hold elected officials to literally bare minimum standards of moral responsibility.

I don't hear anyone saying that. I do see parties who feel entitled to my vote, regardless of their policies, but that's slightly different.

This always ends with "and so you should stop having standards"
There is an extraordinary sense of entitlement behind the belief that there ought to be political party that aligns 100% with your own opinions.

Why must a James Wan movie be “good” ? Is it not enough to sit somewhere dark and see a horrible face, suddenly?

It takes me 3x as long to grade assignments now, because I have to explain gently and effectively why ChatGPT style writing is boring -- they swim in this stuff now even when they don't use the tools. Maybe no one has even told them their own voice matters, so that is down to us. 3/

What if — hear me out — instead of hiring a person to only plow in front of a single business, we hired them to go down the entire block….and the next…and the next…

We could even have a small fleet to cover whole swaths of the city. #PlowTheSidewalks
But *how* will they #PlowTheSidewalks? With what technology?

I do very generally believe in redemption, even as someone who lived through some unthinkably nasty SA stuff as a kid, but I think it comes as follows:

you can get back to your career when you're done helping repair the damage you did.

That's the one thing that never really happens. Repair.
When a cancelled performer reënters the culture, we expect them to offer us a great work, channelling their newfound clarity into the finest art they’ve ever made. With his new comedy show and début novel, has Louis C.K. met the bar?

I'd say this was paranoid except just this week a shooting was used to justify halting all immigration and they are openly calling for white supremacist "remigration". However awful you think these people are, they're worse.
Creating a military conflict with Venezuela gives this administration a legal "hook" to invoke the Alien Enemies Act. In other words, the foreign war is being manufactured in order to facilitate court deference for its domestic mass deportation policy. It's a Stephen Miller Special.

We are actually doing something. DON'T STOP CALLING.
Morale at paypros call centers is in the toilet right now. It’s not just normal Black Friday stress, they’re being pounded. Corporate is pressuring bosses to end the paypros call campaigns. Source familiar w/ internals at MC stressed that folks should stand their ground but be kind to agents (1)

I know people getting GAC through Northwestern. The options around here are rapidly decreasing because of the admin’s bullshit attacks, and caving to those attacks doesn’t help.
And one more other thing I’m seeing now, that Northwestern unsurprisingly didn’t mention in its statement, effectively banning gender affirming care at NU school of medicine

Last month, @theguardian.com framed this historical event project the same way; minimizing the years of archival work, the interviews etc it took to be able to do this.

Instead ‘AI solved this historical problem!’
