Some military service personnel have started seeking outside legal counsel about the missions Trump has assigned them.

At least two members of the National Guard have already said they will defy orders to unlawfully occupy Oregon.

This is what we need.

Not for nothing, this is one reason why we say "pregnant patient" instead of "woman." It's not just for non-binary inclusion.
In addition to the fact that it's very much the power imbalance and legal responsibility to protect them that makes them children, it's also disturbing that so many people are willingly like "listen, 15 year olds are hot, and that's a fact." They are children. They look like children.

The emails that you’re seeing now are news in themselves, but that’s because of how they’re coming out—a congressional committee released them—& the context in which they’re being viewed. A guy emailing a reporter talking about old girlfriends or saying someone is “dirty” is not a whole news story.

I don’t mean to be glib but this is probably a more damning indictment of American elite culture than the Iraq Invasion.
Every single time! Epstein will write:

"porsecters h4arrsed me w/ sbuopenas al bcuase tr4ificing myners .due porcess much???no"

and then there's, like, the former president of a university or white house counsel or something replying:

"You're totally right, and also I love you with all my heart."

This is infuriating. He said, I’m doing ethnic cleansing and got a fucking pass. Your rent will fall because I’m sending your neighbor to a torture prison abroad indefinitely. Journalists, whose job is to figure this out, and treat people skeptically, especially known liars, were totally flummoxed
This was the only housing plan offered up by the Trump campaign and no one in the media thought it interesting enough to ask for details.
The America First solution to the housing crunch isn’t a 50-year mortgage. It’s 100+ million deportations.

The soft pedaling language being used to describe the men in the Epstein files is enraging.

They didn’t “have sex with underage girls”.

They raped them.

Sex implies consent.

The survivors deserve better than this. Use the correct language. Say what these men did.

The idea that sexual abuse is part of “private” life instead of a public crisis has done incalculable damage. Anti-rape activists have to fight to even make it possible to expose sexual abuse as a wrongdoing in public without being silenced and undermined. That fight is far from won

Can we circle back to the part where the NY Times never disclosed that they have incriminating information on Donald Trump from sent by Epstein that's been sitting on their email servers for nearly a decade?
Stuff like this makes me wonder why there hasn't been any reporting about Trump having affairs during his presidencies

Everyone is dunking on Kim Kardashian. The truth is the California bar is notoriously hard, the pass rate was only 55%, the pass rate for people who didn‘t go to an accredited law school is way lower, and lots of very smart and dedicated people don’t pass the first time and become good lawyers.

My kingdom for someone to write up how everything they've done to date is fundamentally just the Admin unilaterally deciding what to spend money on, or not

There's no law, no rule controlling what they're doing, it's solely what they're choosing
I guess if they can illegally pay the full military paycheck why is it so hard to find the remaining 25% of half a month’s pay for the military for food stamps to keep the poor on your side.

These people are incredibly dumb.
