Yeah that sounds accurate. It scales everyone to level 50 too so you dont gotta be endgame to compete. You DO want access to megas though because you get a point bonus for using them.
Winning makes you get there faster but you still get *something* as long as you press buttons and mega evolve once

Tried out the pvp in plza because i do kinda want the greninjite and man. This is both Really Fun and Really Shit at the same time.

I don't think pvp works very well in this game. But its a blast regardless.

I've seen so many meltdowns over someone posting "words / words, japan" that it's honestly very funny. "Literally only Ameriburgers and children watch dubs because they can't overcome the one inch barrier of subtitles" guys unaware that Japan has a decades long history of dubbing Hollywood flicks.

This is not a matter of preference, taste, or even accessibility. Dubs are unique presentations of media with often rich histories. They require serious analyses and preservation

Toning it down just the *slightest* bit would be SO much of an improvement.
I've *liked* it, DT has a lot of good in it, Even Post-EW had some moments, but i want to be able to be a little surprised even if i know the plot of the FF theyre referencing.

Yeah its weird. This games ALWAYS made big references to past games but the last two expansions have felt particularly heavy handed about it.

tried making a nice sounding whooshing sound effect, couldn't be assed to find the right samples for it though so i ended up creating a bunch of demon sounds instead. altered the entire scene's direction to fit this. i guess you play the cards you're dealt
