Our new film, ALL ABOUT THE MONEY, has been chosen for the World Documentary competition in Sundance.

It's a huge thing for me personally and we are now frantically trying to finish it.

Thanks so much to @screenireland.bsky.social for their support.

One of the biggest moments of my career:
USCIS canceled my client’s naturalization oath ceremony. We filed a lawsuit, went to trial, and the judge swore him in right there in the courtroom!

The tragedy of Rob and Michelle’s deaths are incomprehensible.

I’m hearing Rob’s voice telling us all to do more, to repair the human soul, to repair our hearts, to repair our country, to repair our world, to keep fighting, to keep living for every soul taken from this earth.

Trump is intellectually less competent, tactically less savvy, and politically weaker than he was even a year ago. And he's blatantly, flagrantly ill.

The costs of standing by him are going up, and the costs of defying him are plummeting.
Anyone have any idea why Trump’s disgusting comments about Reiner are attracting all this hand wringing from republicans? He has built his entire political movement off of saying disgusting things and being a vile piece of shit to people.

without Rob Reiner’s Castle Rock production company we wouldn’t have:

City Slickers, Honeymoon in Vegas, In the Line of Fire, The Shawshank Redemption, Before Sunrise, Dolores Claiborne, Lone Star, Waiting for Guffman, and more - in a six-year period alone

Shocked by the awful death of Rob Reiner. I spoke with him for over an hour last night. We talked about his work and his plans for the future. I always enjoyed his company. We met at his Dad's in 1975. Last thing he said to me was "See you next year.." Such a terrible end. Such a sweet man.

This is pretty funny
One of my all-time favorite clips of Rob Reiner, from his Friars Club Roast in 2000, as he reads aloud Roger Ebert's infamous scathing review of his movie North. The man had an amazing sense of humor about himself. RIP.

Rob Reiner was one of the key people behind the effort to go to court to overturn California's anti-marriage equality Proposition 8 when it passed in 2008.

Working with Chad Griffin, they founded the American Foundation for Equal Rights and got Ted Olson and David Boies to team up to fight Prop 8.

MK and I cherish the time that we got to spend with Rob and Michele Reiner — we were devastated to learn of their passing.

Titans of the industry in every sense, the Reiners' legacy is secured through works of art that impacted generations.

May their memories be a blessing.

Rob Reiner made some great movies but he was also unafraid to speak the truth, and was one of the public voices who knew you don’t squander your platform, and only got louder about opposing evil fucks as he got older. Legend.

A story about the great Rob Reiner. I grew up adjacent to but a world away from Hollywood. But for a brief period of time in the early 1970s Rob Reiner and Penny Marshall lived in a rather modest home just a few blocks away from where I grew up in North Hollywood. Years later, I met him, and…

I’m just going to tell the story. Back in 2000 I was volunteering for the Gore campaign when he came along with Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Alfre Woodard and Dule Hill to a GOTV event here in MN. He ended up sitting down across from me stuffing his envelopes.

Steve isn’t here anymore, but he always posted this picture on Hanukkah so I thought we could carry on his tradition and remember him.
Happy Hanukkah to our friends who celebrate. Rachel Posner, a rabbi’s wife in Kiel, Germany, took this photograph in 1931 -- a potent reminder that fascism must be fought in every generation, even if it's wrapped in an American flag and a red hat.
