I went to put the yard decorations up, and noticed there was no power on the outlet I used, so after confirming it, I opened it up and started looking.

I actually love coming out to people for this reason. They've probably known me as a woman for weeks or months, and I tell them, "yeah, I'm actually trans." Totally forces them to reckon with the fact that it really doesn't matter to them in any meaningful way.
the entire debate cis people have about trans people is moronic to start but it’s also a debate most trans people don’t care about, being that if we are viewed as “real women or men” or not. no one gives a fuck. it changes nothing about the reality that transitioning rocks
