I don't know how unpopular this is, but I really liked Krakoa. I thought it was cool that the mutants finally had a country and were doing well

Undoing that to take it back to the feared and hated minority status quo of the 60s is so boring to me. Nothing in comics lasts

Yeah, Walking Dead was interesting when they got to the prison and were rebuilding, but then Kirkman destroyed it all and killed most of the cast of characters to start over and it totally turned me off to the book

It's a very good looking movie. And it has a great cast (Fassbender's performance alone makes the movie almost worth watching). But the writing is so bad. It's such a dumb, pretty movie

Yeah, I've watched Alien and Aliens and Romulus since transitioning, but I think just those. I was soured on Resurrection after it came out that Joss Whedon is a horrible person

I kinda liked AvP:R even though it's not at all a good movie, because it felt like the filmmakers loved the franchises. It's sort of like an Ed Wood quality. They wanted to do right by the creatures even though they didn't really know how to make a movie

I guess in some kind of fantasy vacuum you could write 'a man in DRAG and HEAVY makeup wants to tear the uterus out of a lesbian and usurp her symbol of femininity and lesbianism' and have it carry no implications. I don't think any of us lives in that fantasyland though.
