Basically

Script issues aside, which can be attributed to a lot of things, it's not a poorly made movie.

Ain't no way I've seen people mad at this.

"Where did the money go?!" You gotta be fucking kidding me...

Disney revealed today that the total cost of STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER was $593.7 million, making it the third most expensive movie in history.

My writing process involves writing scenes in fragments and connecting things backwards. I came with an entire fantasy musical number set to a Smash Mouth song.

It doesn't work on paper for a screenplay about a trans Puerto Rican girl finding her purpose, but it actually works???

This situation with The Brave and the Bold is pissing me off.

If Andy Muschietti is off it, why is he allowed to make off-the-record comments in interviews and to fans on the street MULTIPLE times?

Talent should not be talking this fucking much about a project barely into the writing stage.

Which is basically Ghost in the Shell.

IF IT AIN'T BROKE!!!!!!

They should let trans women write a Tron movie.

We would kick as much ass. Give it to me and one other girl. She can focus on the cool programming shit and I'll handle the sci-fi melodrama.

I don't know but I rather put thought into my analysis of Star Wars, even a film I don't really like, than spend all my time reposting anything even remotely negative about it and nothing else.

Y'all are kinda losers.

Good thread

This is gonna be a thread. In The Force Awakens, Leia makes a point that Snoke is the reason Ben turned, not because his grandfather was Darth Vader. And the fact that Leia believed that there was still light in him and told Han to bring him back home.

This won't stop until Harry Potter adults--and it is the adults--stop supporting this nonsense.

They made HP their entire personality and they'll need to find a new one. Hard, yes, but not impossible. There are plenty of fandoms that don't fund a known bigot.

oh no. no. absolutely the fuck not. fuck off.
a bullshit statement from Keira knightley saying she was not aware of a boycott against jk Rowling before taking a job on the new audio series and that she's "sorry" and "we're all going to have to figure out how to live together and we've all got very different opinions"
 She can fuck off.

She stopped talking to me cause she thought my music taste was bad.

Sorry you think The White Stripes are mid. Lol

Thinking about the time a trans girl forced me to do puppy play with her and I committed the entire time despite it being one of the most miserable sexting experiences of my life.

I am NOTHING if not committed to making girls happy. Even at the expense of my own.

I believe Lightcycle began development around 2016 and I think Tron 3 as Ares was greenlit around the same time. Not 100% sure.

I just don't want this franchise to die. Being a POTC fan hurts enough.

This scene was the most earned moment in the trilogy. While sadly we never got to see Leia bring Ben back into the light, the decision to have a vision of Han do it due to Carrie Fisher's passing was a smart one.

Kylo Ren wasn't meant to stay evil. "Kylo Ren is dead. My son is alive."

It's made apparent that neither Rey or Luke would've been the ones to save him, it was Leia. But Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly only committed to that for like 6 seconds before they killed him. Kylo Ren wasn't compelling in DOTF cause Trevorrow and Connolly don't know how to write villains.

On Crait, Luke tells Leia that he came to face Ben, not to save him. Which leads to the most famous line exchange of the entire trilogy.

"I held out hope for so long. I know my son is gone."

"No one's ever really gone."

Luke never said Ben couldn't be saved. He said HE isn't the one who can.

In The Last Jedi, Snoke calls out Ben twice that despite killing Han, Ben was still conflicted.

"You have too much of your father's heart in you, young Solo."

And when he said when the moment came he didn't hesitate, Snoke said the act "split his spirit to the bone." and that he's "unbalanced."
