I think there is a interesting version of the Star Wars universe where the Sith and the Emperor remained separate Dark Side entities with their own evil agendas instead of one and the same.

Great point made here about how Arcanaut Studios though a new studio is a indy studio not owned by one of the mega conglomerates. So they'll really only be beholden to Lucasfilm and financial backers.
Just something to keep in mind, even if the gaming industry is still rocky.
