Han Solo is a supporting character in every Star Wars movie he’s in (with the obvious exception of his spinoff movie), and Harrison Ford, despite seemingly not being very fond of Star Wars in real life, manages to shine and fill the hearts of the audience with joy whenever he’s on screen.

I love how TFA absolutely knows it is a Star Wars movie. How it pulls in everything we know and love about the saga, leans in, gives it a twist, then gut punches you with emotion. As exhilarating as ANH with the passion of ESB.
