So Kilmer Abrego-Garcia will not challenge a deportation to Costa Rica, who has agreed to for him residency, but DHS won’t agree to send him there because it’s not cruel enough.

For weeks, Mr. Abrego Garcia, a Salvadoran national who is married to a U.S. citizen, has made clear that he would not challenge his deportation if he were sent to Costa Rica, which has promised him legal residency and guaranteed that he would not be sent back to El Salvador.

But the Trump administration has refused to deport him to Costa Rica, and in an earlier hearing this week, Judge Xinis pressed the administration to consider the option or clarify why it was unacceptable.

it really sucks that insurances only cover x amount of physical/occupational therapy in hospital and out of hospital. They probably were only able to justify keeping him there until he “graduated” out to home care even tho it was beneficial. Sadly there’s only so much pt you can achieve at home.

And I have a visiting physical therapist now, but I can only really do exercises from my bed, which is pretty pathetic. It’s not going to get me walking, I don’t believe.

FLOWER! We have a cosmos bud! Also, DEFINITELY some mint sprouts in one area smaller, came in a few days later so that hopefully means both peppermint and spearmint. Those, cilantro and cosmos all grow like absolute mad so this should be fun.

About a month ago, the Trump administration got rid of the de minimis exemption, whereby packages valued under $800 could slide in without import duties. Now there's a backlog as the government can't process all of this paperwork, leading to UPS just destroying packages

Truth be told I'd be happy to have a couple more hours every week all I really want is stability in my scheduling. That was the biggest perk of working at this dumb gas station. I didn't have a random schedule which is one of the most evil stupid things service industry jobs tend to do.
