Rather than seeking low-hanging fruit, ICE is targeting all who oppose them. Effort building the capacity to resist collectively is not wasted, wherever it occurs.

It's essential to show the complicity of local and state police. As opposition to ICE increases, this will carry over to cops as well.

On January 10, participants in a march in Oakland smashed 47 windows at the federal building and covered it with spray paint as a way to identify it as a base of local ICE operations.

While ICE is focused on the Twin Cities, actions elsewhere can spread their attention thin and inspire resistance.

Last year, centrists were arguing that Democrats should adopt extreme-right anti-immigrant positions to keep up with what they claimed was the tide of public opinion.

Now nearly half of the population agrees that ICE should be outright abolished.

ICE has only existed since March 2003, by the way.

January 18 will mark three years since Georgia State Patrolmen murdered Manuel Teran, known to fellow forest defenders as Tortuguita, in Weelaunee Forest.

People around the world will observe the Day of the Forest Defender with events.

Some of those are listed here:

Whatever ICE agents say, it is a lie. Never believe a word.

They do violence to the truth as eagerly as they do violence to human beings.

They represent the most despicable aspects of all humanity. They will murder, kidnap, brutalize, and terrorize as long as they are permitted to.

Rise up.

After ICE pointlessly tear-gassed a vehicle containing four small children and a 6-month-old baby, nearly killing the baby, DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin blatantly lied, saying

"DHS law enforcement NEVER targeted this family or their innocent children."

Don't believe that every word out of the mouths of the federal mercenaries is a lie?

Here is “Commander at Large” Gregory Bovino, dressed as a Gestapo officer, shamelessly declaring that ICE is "ethical and moral" and even "peaceful" days after his men senselessly murdered a soccer mom.

Scum.

Following the vandalism of at least 11 government vehicles or rentals driven by federal law enforcement at a hotel in Eagan, Minnesota last night, it's safe to say—you don't want to stay at a hotel that hosts ICE, or even park your vehicle there. You don't want to host them at your hotel, either.

At the beginning of Donald Trump's second term, centrists were arguing that Democrats should adopt far-right positions on immigration.

It's hard to imagine a more despicable, wrongheaded, and self-defeating strategy than chasing popularity by embracing the policies of actual fascists.

Why?

Not yet, but that's your tax dollars at work, right there.

Instead of healthcare, school lunches, or support for those trying to get sober or get out of abusive relationships, they are making reward tokens to encourage the most hateful people in our society to commit kidnapping and even murder.

When police accuse protesters of being "professional agitators," remember—

Police are unscrupulous mercenaries who assault anyone they are ordered to in return for a paycheck.

Protesters who stand up to police are doing so for free, at tremendous risk to themselves, as a service to the public.
St. Paul police brutally assault locals defending their neighbors from ICE, then absurdly accuse the locals of being "professional agitators."

"We are not your adversary. We are your police."

They support ICE with violence, just as they murder with impunity. They are, in fact, our adversaries.

Trump is threatening to use the Insurrection Act to put troops on the streets of the Twin Cities, where federal mercenaries continue to terrorize, kidnap, and shoot civilians.

He is threatening to do this because ICE lost last night.
