Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.

It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.

The late showing of Frank Capra's classic is when things get LIT.
Every Netflix or Hallmark Christmas movie I've watched so clearly wants to be 2006's "The Holiday," but none of them have the talent in front of or behind the camera that made old-school mediocre rom-coms so watchable.
I honestly don't want to make dinner to Netflix sludge, I want to make dinner to some middling 90s movie where if I look up I'll see great production design or Joan Cusack give a line reading they should teach in schools.
