Actual study: Anthropic paid MIT to use a "labor simulation tool" that said 11.7% of TASKS could be done by AI

The question that raises for me is if a CEO has ever done any real work in the history of CEOs
A study by Dayforce shows 87% of executives use AI for work, compared to 57% of managers and just 27% of employees.

I think this explains the massive disconnect we see in how CEOs talk about AI versus everyone else. It also raises the question of how useful it truly is for frontline work?
Execs are embracing AI more than their employees are, new research suggests
Research from HR software company Dayforce suggests that executives are leaning into AI far more than their employees.

I grew up on all those US TV shows featuring holier-than-thou young lawyers crowing about the sacrosanct nature of the US Constitution.

It's clear that the Constitution is meaningless to enough people to allow this jackass to ignore it as he wishes.

The document has lost its hallowed veneer.

I had the same thought. It's the same "rats fleeing a sinking ship" as Republican congresspeople recently, because the NYT editors have the same goals as Republican politicians and Trump is becoming no longer useful for those goals
Credit where it’s due. But I don’t think it’s a coincidence that this new framing comes out after a Democratic wave election, the ascendance (and surprisingly broad acceptance) of Mamdani, and his steadily crashing poll numbers.

Electric bills are up 11% this year, and shutoffs are spiking across the country.

At the same time, corporations are building hundreds of energy-hungry data centers, and working families are being forced to absorb the cost. Higher bills for us, higher profits for them. seiu.co/3M71usW
