As someone who survived the 2021 Texas power crisis due to Winter Storm Uri (& is now basically a climate/collapse refugee in the upper Midwest), I think this is utter madness. The collapse acceleration this will probably cause is incalculable.

IIRC this started when the account tweeted out furry fetish art/meme that someone had edited to include IWW themes. They got a tonne of pushback. Instead of deleting and pretending it never happened they saterted actively courting freelancers, tailors.
