I can't believe we're nominated for a NEBULA AWARD FOR GAME WRITING. I'm stunned! This is beyond my wildest dreams. 😭

So much of this is my stellar Narrative Lead @karriebear.bsky.social and, truly, the entire Pacific Drive team has earned this accolade. 🎉 @ironwood.bsky.social it was a privilege!

As a kid I would've thought this was one of the most exciting things ever, whereas as an adult I think this is one of the most exciting things ever.
Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog Pasta (1998-1999): Canned pasta in a tomato/cheese sauce from Franco-American, shaped like weapons, a castle, and a dragon from the short-lived Fox Kids action-fantasy series from Saban, which was set in ancient Ireland

So @vangameconnect.ca was very good indeed and I hope this city can keep hosting new games, arts and culture events.
We’ve got less than 3 hours till the Expo ends but still plenty of Vancouver-made game demos to play ✨

The X-Files is genuinely a timelessly good show, because when not focusing on overarching conspiracy plot, they would really just focus on a single concept and quite crucially, it would cast an incredible actor to center the episode around who would be utterly god damn captivating to watch.

I actually gasped when I saw that this resource guide was put out there to help folks. *That's* what I'm talking about.

Librarians are the freaking best, y'all. Book it. Done.
Sometimes I think it’s going to be the librarians who will save us all.

Among the things social media has caused, it's the lack of realization of boundaries. Some thoughts are for the group chat, some are for Discord, some are just to be shared on the phone or in person with your friends, some are to be kept to yourself.

Not every single thought needs to be public.

Absolutely fucking batshit insane that Lyft is not only charging a waiting fee now, but that they charge by the second.

My driver had to wait seventeen seconds for me to find and get in his car? Unacceptable!

It's so freaking funny that people are crashing out about a joke anyone who sees that screen would independently think of to the point someone has to share metadata from their joke to prove they thought of it
So I went Full Journalism and think I've discovered why several folks have shared the same image saying "Writer" isn't a valid job.

It's from a medical screening questionnaire. Here's my explainer! BUT ALSO here's a link to the metadata from my original image.
