. @votetanille.bsky.social's Indigenous reconciliation and empowerment plan is a powerful, inspiring document.

It’s a vision rooted in the deep ground of First Nations, Inuit and Métis rights.
We in the NDP can’t lose sight of Indigenous issues.

Our plan would:

☑️Close the infrastructure gap on First Nations

☑️Uphold the principles of free prior and informed consent

☑️ Deliver funding for community policing

☑️ Fully fund Jordan’s Principle

There are fountains of wealth being generated in this country. But that wealth isn't trickling down to working people. It’s all stuck at the top.

Our 'Tax Plan for the 99%' takes on the corporate hoarding class – to redistribute wealth and raise the floor for all of us.

Premier Kinew and Minister Asagwara aren’t leaving seniors at the mercy of the market, they’re stepping in to save these precious elder care beds.

This is exactly what we mean when we say that the role of the government is to goddamn govern.

The CCF/NDP grew out of the populist soil of Canada, founded by prairie farmers and workers.

I’m proud to have the support of agriculture leaders today, fighting for food sovereignty and against corporate control of our food system.

We’re rebuilding the NDP for every community, including farmers.

Liberal icons Lloyd Axworthy and Alan Rock get behind @jennykwan.bsky.social's essential No More Loopholes Act. We need a real 2-way arms embargo on Israel, and this opens the door for Liberal MPs to pressure the PM to get it done.

Canadian banks closed 561 branches & 900 ATMs in 4 years, while population grew 7%.

This is classic scapegoating — blaming refugees for a healthcare crisis caused by decades of underfunding and privatization.

These charges are cruel and punitive. We won’t fix a broken system by putting up new barriers for people who are already struggling.

Organizing works! This is a win for public pressure, and a message about the moral clarity Canadians want from politics right now.

Now we need legislation to ban all Canadian companies from contracting with ICE or otherwise supporting Trump's kidnapping and deportation machine.

Solidarity with PSAC-AFPC members fighting back against Carney’s callous cuts.

We're in a moment of economic emergency: austerity is the worst possible response. We shouldn't be attacking good jobs and public services, we should be expanding them to protect Canadians from the shocks still to come.
PM Carney’s plan to slash 30k public service jobs should concern everyone in Canada.

These reckless cuts will impact the critical services that people rely on.

Wholeheartedly agree.
Canada cannot fund, arm, or legitimize ICE.

I’ve written to PM Carney calling for sanctions, export bans, cancelled subsidies, and the closure of ICE offices in Canada. Fascist violence and human rights abuses demand action, not silence.

Today and every day, I stand in solidarity with Muslim communities against hatred and discrimination. Our fates are intertwined – and our unity only makes us stronger.

Heartbreaking and enraging. Either the federal government steps up with an actual systemic solution – including public or worker ownership – or we’ll be reading these headlines and watching communities gutted for years to come.
