Black woman who votes. I work to keep my cats in the lifestyle to which they have become accustomed.

White people clamoring for the Obamas, I have a real question: do you look around and see how it’s *only y’all* with this expectation?
White people have a problem. Being racists, and voting that way.

I’m going to say it’s sad for a Black woman to co-sign this erasure. But, I guess it’s good for business.
Hmmm how are the democrats gonna get votes when nobody can stand them?

It’s funny because I had an editor in Atlanta - one of the worst people I’ve ever met in the business, a total and complete clown - insert an error into my copy at a place where errors went into your HR file. He was gonna let me get in trouble over it too, but thankfully I kept meticulous records
I've heard of people putting obvious mistakes in their work deliberately so that other people can feel the satisfaction of having corrected them.

It’s already exhausting AF when you take your anger & decades worth of shitty voting habits out on the first Black Minority leader of the House…but to do this under a post paying respect to one of our Civil Rights leaders joining the ancestors is some 🤡.

The likes match exit polling.

Stop being 🗑️

If you grew up in the “Free to Be You and Me” generation, Jesse Jackson was much more than a politician or movement figure.

White men: you have not been the base of the Democratic Party since the modern realignment.

Let it go. Do y’all want this competent and humane governance, or not?

Reverend Jesse Jackson was one of America’s greatest patriots. He spent his life summoning all of us to fulfill the promise of America and building the coalitions to make that promise real.

I know this is an aside. But, still. Yikes.

Five miles of bad road. If you told me she’s got Corey doing her filler injections, I’d take you at your word.

I don’t give a single solitary fuck about much, but coming online in this day and age telling the world that Reagan or trump invented racism is a tell that you don’t belong in an adult conversation.

The erasure of America’s heinous crimes against humanity are one thing.

Your ignorance is on you

You’re really loud and wrong huh?

You don’t know about Black people being excluded from the policies that helped establish generational wealth or you just racist?

How the fuck are you calling someone a moron because you have the historical depth of a slip n slide?
Jerrel You seem to be a moron if you think FDR caused wealth inequality in America. It was Reagan who unleashed wealth inequality by lowering taxes on the wealthy and raising taxes on the middle class. As well as shipping are manufacturing jobs overseas and he closed all are mental health instit.

There would be no Ron Brown, no Donna Brazile, no Barack Obama, no Jaime Harrison as America came to know us — without Jesse Jackson first expanding what felt possible.

He had not won the nomination — but he had won our imagination.

Today we lost a giant.

My first real political memory was watching Rev. Jesse Jackson speak at the 1988 Democratic Convention with my grandfather in Orangeburg, South Carolina.

The Rev. Jesse L. Jackson Sr. was a legendary voice for the voiceless, powerful civil rights champion and trailblazer extraordinaire.

He inspired us to keep hope alive in the struggle for liberty and justice for all.

We are thankful for his service to the nation.

May he forever rest in power.

I mean, they can say it. But, everybody understands that actual prosecutorial authority resides in agencies controlled by the Trump administration?
I think it’s time for Democratic leaders to start saying “if you’re a pilot or ground crew involved in a deportation that was stayed by a judge, you’ll be held criminally liable for human trafficking.” Everyone involved in these flights should have that fear in the back of their minds.
Overnight, this probable ICE flight landed in Benin and is now returning to Senegal, likely for a crew layover.
