I always love it here. But I’m crazy and go out any day it’s not raining so I’ve been in 8° temperatures with 26 MPH sustained winds and 35+ gusts. I have to dress in a down suit but it’s worth it to see the water.

Agree completely. I would also think changing the Department of Defense to the Department of War kind of negates any claim one would have to being peace oriented.

I can give you one for George Martin. When he first called I thought it important that he knew so I called him back, got his housekeeper, and explained the situation. A couple months later he called again and his voicemail said in the middle, “Oh wait, we’ve done this before haven’t we?” 😊

I left the industry in 1978 but did 7-Midnight for five years and would have been on when that news broke. That must’ve been very tough to go through and deliver. Thanks for the tweet.

Most of them were on Voice Mail but the ones I spoke to in person I simply explained that the number had been changed. But it was wild as I was sometimes getting 5-10 calls in a single day.

I’m thinking of John Lennon today on his 85th (!) birthday. I was randomly assigned his phone number in NYC in 1992 after Yoko Ono disconnected it when it appeared in Albert Goldman's biography (see photo). I got calls from George Martin, Elton John, Rod Stewart, and many others.
