A federal judge has ruled that the Trump administration must stop deploying the California National Guard in Los Angeles and return control of the troops to the state.
The Pentagon would be required to better protect troops from the effects of weapons blasts by assigning dedicated blast safety officers across every branch of the military under a provision in the annual defense policy bill.
