They’re clearly plugging this dude into an IV regularly and, if this were Biden, there would be demands for weekly hour long press conferences from his doctors on his health. But that’s not how authoritarianism works so stop asking questions already.

Trump is angry that Dem Congressman Henry Cuellar, whom he just pardoned, has decided to run for reelection.

A reminder: Trump didn’t even give Speaker Johnson a heads-up before issuing the pardon, and that the GOP had a chance at picking up this seat had Cuellar continued to face federal charges.

WELKER: You're talking about Trump protecting Arkansas from drugs, yet he pardoned the former president of Honduras who trafficked more than 500 tons of cocaine into the US. How does that make us safer?

COTTON: I haven't spoken to POTUS about that pardon. I have to know more about the circumstances

don't worry, john roberts says this is a legitimate exercise of presidential power and if we did anything to curb it, we would be robbing the executive of the energy he needs to do his job
Trump rages that Henry Cuellar didn’t pay him back for a pardon by switching parties, blasting Cuellar for a “lack of LOYALTY.”

In other words, Trump admits he was trying to use his pardon power to buy Republicans a House seat.

“We knew very well what we were electing” isn’t a defense of Trump’s actions. It’s an admission of your complicity.
CURTIS: All of us need to wake up every morning & say, 'what am I doing to make immigrants feel welcome' regardless of an individual says

BASH: But he's not just an individual. He's the president calling an entire community garbage

I'm not sure it's in the self interest of America's tech bro billionaires to suggest that we bring back public executions to punish the most destructive people in our society.
A Palantir billionaire just called for public hangings.

“It's time to bring back masculine leadership to protect our most vulnerable,” writes Joe Lonsdale.
