Agents hit and damaged a parked car while driving away (though they at least missed the bus).
The official statement: “In fear of public safety and of law enforcement, officers used their service vehicle to strike a suspect’s vehicle and create an opening”—did they know or care WHOSE car it was?

I know that we host trainings for other countries' armed forces, often ones we really shouldn't be helping.

I don't remember ever hearing before that the base wasn't OUR base on which some foreign troops were training but THEIR base in our country. Do you know of any of those? Asking honestly.

He wrote "You lack values" to Ingoglia. The cops were armed, wearing bulletproof vests, and knew about the man's military record. Two unmarked black Broncos were nearby, so more police may have been waiting.

"You lack values" is not a threat! Armed cops are!

A restraining order was issued YESTERDAY by a federal judge barring detention of journalists in this district unless they refuse to reposition themselves and are given adequate time to do so, or there’s probable cause they’ve committed a crime.

Ok, did not expect “The Lion The Witch and the Wardrobe” to feel quite so relevant to this moment.

Here’s Edmund, deciding to side with the leader who he’s been told disappears people.

He did want Turkish Delight and to be a prince (and later a king) and to pay Peter out for calling him a beast. As for what the Witch would do with the others, he didn't want her to be particularly nice to them - certainly not to put them on the same level as himself; but he managed to believe, or to pretend he believed, that she wouldn't do anything very bad to them, 'Because,' he said to himself, 'all these people who say nasty things about her are her enemies and probably half of it isn't true. She was jolly nice to me, anyway, much nicer than they are. I expect she is the rightful Queen really. Anyway, she'll be better than that awful Aslan!' At least, that was the excuse he made in his own mind for what he was doing. It wasn't a very good excuse, however, for deep down inside him he really knew that the White Witch was bad and cruel.

EXCLUSIVE — DHS Acting General Counsel sent out a memo Wednesday to all Federal Protective Service staff (the sub-agency that guards federal buildings) letting officers know they could take any action necessary "in the vicinity" federal property to protect themselves.

I can both recognize that people can change and be concerned that serious incidents are dismissed as "youthful indiscretions" without any evidence of change.

This isn't one of those cases where we need to worry about the distinction.
