Here's everything I've done so far on broligarchy, all in one place, starting with my Inauguration Day interview on @thedailyshow.com with Jon Stewart, through multiple BlueSky threads on the subject, some other interviews & a couple articles in @theatlantic.com. 1/9

We're gonna get him some dry white toast.

Do you bake the stuffing and then somehow jam it into a raw bird without burning your hands? Tell me of this witchcraft.

The juices of the cooking meat baste the stuffing. It's sublime.

Had to tap out after about 40 minutes. Intolerable crap.

Hop in my pocket, then we can go outside!

NOOOOO

This and Gloria Gaynor are gut punches.

Eva started out as Epstein's girlfriend in the 80s. Then she aged out and married Dubin.

But not proud to be delulu?

My PUP book, published 2009. Something has seriously gone off the rails that they published "In Covid's Wake" at all.
Plus: it's not just PUP! Look at all the esteemed fact-checking media outlets that named that drivel a "best book of 2025"--the New Yorker ffs?

That's not the way it works at university presses. They have fact checkers & legal teams review manuscripts. I have published with Princeton U Press & underwent this multi-level review process with my own book. Same with my books at Harvard & Stanford U Presses. Something is very wrong at Princeton.

Soviet-style ideological denunciations of coworkers.

Did a double take thinking you were Zohran for a sec.

...in the manger, with myrhh? Or was he already into White Russians back then?

From personal experience publishing with Princeton University Press, admittedly a while ago: they employ editors, they fact-check and they have a legal team review publications before they go to press. I am dumbfounded that this kind of gross falsehood slipped by ALL those checkpoints.

They are masters at building community. Money is merely one of their instruments for doing so. That's what Potter doesn't understand.

As someone who published with Princeton University Press and went through their legal review...I cannot believe this passed legal review.

Next up: the return of absinthe, and arsenic in makeup! Just in time for Trump to roll back the few shreds of EPA protection that remain in the US.

Fun fact from our textbook (to illustrate how crime is socially constructed) to bug the Christian nationalists with: it was a crime to celebrate Christmas from 1659 to 1681 in Massachusetts Bay Colony.

Did she draw a big crowd? Did she sound so...lizard-like in person?

1st question to my Italian teacher: Does Meloni smoke, like a carton a day?

Italian teacher: ovviamente ("duh")

But there's more going on: it's a performance of vulgarity, kind of like the distinctive voice of male announcers on American right-wing radio, if you know what I mean. Audio pugnacity.

Can you do the same for Gloria Gaynor and her support for MAGA? To see the "I Will Survive" goddess go that way was even more crushing to read about than Nicky Minaj.

Have you listened to her speaking voice? I hadn't heard it until I moved to Italy last August and when I tell you I. WAS. FLOORED.

It's apparently the accent of the Roman "projects" and it's like a mashup of Trump's Queens accent and Elizabeth Holmes trying to hit the basso profundo notes.

It's how the broligarchs who bought the White House are treating the world, with us as their guinea pigs for all manner of unethical, dangerous, and even deadly experiments.

They've been practicing offshore for years, like Peter Thiel funding rogue herpes vaccine trials on St. Kitts & Nevis.

Ideal timing for these remarks.

Huh, I could do those alterations myself at home, easy peasy. This is opening up new avenues in the gig economy for middle-aged professors.
