I feel so good with where I am at with my Humanity's Grave edits at this point; the clarity of my voice with it. The drama, the structure, I think is coming together nicely. The main slog with the edits is proofing it; I am hoping it will soon be in a state to talk to publishers and querying agents.

I may have begun writing it, a first chapter about a bride, her arranged marriage by her father to consolidate family power and influence, fascism looming in the backdrop, her need to be free of the system.
That moment where you are outlining a novel, and then you are like, oh, do I need to buy myself a tarot deck for this idea now.

So, I had to be up reallt early this morning for reasons. So i grabbed my freewrite traveler and notebook, now I'm waiting around in a hospital and writing the first chapter to my new sci-fi idea, sapphic magical girl mech pilots fighting fascism, now I also kinda wanna add a gothic aesthetic to it.

100% this. A trans person's real name is whatever they tell you it is at that point in time. Cause people can quite easily decide a name isnt vibin for them.
Cis folks: Shouldn't have to say this, but do not, under any circumstances, refer to a trans person's deadname as their "real name." Whether it has been legally changed or not. For fuck sake.
