So, it doesn't need to be an absolute either or thing. Your chronic pain can be a disability when it is preventing you from participating in society because of the way society is constructed. And it can not be, when you're just living your life and not having to deal with all that.

I think quite often whether to consider yourself disabled or not is contextual. Like, i am AuDHD, for the most part i do not consider myself disabled, until i have to interact with allistics at work and their inability to communicate directly.

Because she believes only the self interested motivation of profit could possibly produce things like self actualisation. She seems to have convinced herself that a desire to help other people cannot motivate people to provide care under communism.

I have to say, one nice thing about the current state of UK politics is that, with every other party fighting over who can be the most racist right wing party possible, the field on the other side has been left wide open for an actually progressive left wing party to take root
