Canada made weird tv shows because it was all being done with government funded art grant money so they fell in this wacky middle ground between “shoestring budget” and “no expectation to generate shareholder value” which is really the best way to make art

i’m rarely good at guessing what art things will be a hit with people other than myself when i’m stocking my shop with goodies, so sometimes i choose simply to follow what brings me joy and hope other people agree.

I see some book piracy discourse, and, to make a positive argument in favor of buying books, your marginal ability to influence what books get published and support the careers of writers you like is massive compared to most other forms of media.

i hate the sky ad where the little girl steals lines from films to ask a boy on a date (in no universe apart from a syrupy xmas ad would that boy not have been like EWW NO) i like that they've included the two ladies from the wicked film. i will not be watching it, but it's nice to know they're ✂️✂️

i rarely get comments (would probably help if i'd posted a video in the past six months... listen, i'm trying) but when i get some toxic dickhead trying to start nonsense, i shut that down by deleting them. you can just do that.
