There is always the unknown and inevitability factor, I get that. More so just I wish developers would stop turning to slop. Hopefully the bubble bursts soon and every GenAI-based company goes under.

Appreciate you linking this but I have already seen this. I'm still hesitant to trust maybes considering the wording they have used.

I get it, servers are on fire. But people are actively looking right now for alternatives, and every single creative I know hates GenAI and doesn't want any ties to it. We are all looking for something new, and Stoat could be that something. We just need a simple confirmation directly from the team.

I'm fully aware of what they must be going through, but a simply "We will not be using Generative AI in our development from here on." is all we are asking for. I even asked in the support channel in their official server (when people were not actively talking) and they conveniently ignored me.

I'm aware of the removal they did, good first step. They've not explictly made their stance on the future usage of GenAI in their platform obvious to anyone. They also told another person to "fork it and DIY" if we want a truly unique experience, which is completely dodging the question in my eyes.
